Salah wants to have a new experience, however, the final decision depends on the Reds and Jurgen Klopp who is keen on keeping the 31-year-old.

Al Ittihad have reignited their interest in the Egypt international and are prepared to go all out to try and sign him. They made attempts to sign Salah earlier in the window but his agent disclosed earlier in August that the Egyptian is committed to Liverpool.

Klopp, speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday stated that the forward is “100 percent” committed to the club amid interest from the Saudi club.

Al Ittihad are ready to bid more than $100m and have set Monday, 28th August as the deadline day for Liverpool to respond.

Salah penned a new three-year deal last summer which runs until June 2025.

Liverpool have already sold midfielders Fabinho and Jordan Henderson to Al-Ittihad and El-Ettifaq respectively this summer, while Roberto Firmino joined Al-Ahli after the expiration of his contract at Anfield.

Salah has netted 187 goals in 305 games since joining from AS Roma in 2017 and is currently fifth on Liverpool’s all-time scoring charts, surpassing club legend Steven Gerrard after scoring against Bournemouth last weekend.

He has won several trophies during his time at Anfield including the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Fifa Club World Cup, and Uefa Super Cup.

The Egypt international has also won or shared three Premier League Golden Boots and been named the PFA Player of the Year twice.
