Liverpool youngster Conor Bradley has been honoured with the PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month award for January.

The talented full-back earned this recognition following an outstanding performance for the Reds, where he notched an assist during his Premier League debut against AFC Bournemouth.

Bradley continued to shine with two more assists in the match against Chelsea at Anfield, in addition to scoring a breathtaking first senior goal for Liverpool during the same game.

His remarkable contributions earned him the accolade, triumphing over strong contenders such as teammate Diogo Jota, Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne and Julian Alvarez, Luton Town’s Elijah Adebayo, and Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhaes.

Bradley was also named Liverpool’s Standard Chartered Men’s Player of the Month for January.

The 20-year-old featured in six games last month, scoring one goal and providing five assists across all competitions.

Upon receiving the accolade at the AXA Training Centre, he told Liverpoolfc.com: “Thank you, it’s a privilege. Obviously it’s been a good month for me, it’s been a good couple of games and yeah, I’m just very happy to win it. As I say, it’s a privilege.

“It means a bit more [being voted for by the fans]. Obviously from the Chelsea game, hearing my name get sung out was probably the most special moment of my life, to be honest, because I have supported the club all my life.

“But yeah, it coming from the supporters as well, I can’t thank them enough for the support they have given me.”

“No, it doesn’t, to be fair!” the Northern Ireland, who also won LFC Goal of the Month for January, replied.

“I just felt like I was in a dream the whole game. It was pretty mental and it just felt like nothing could go wrong for me, so yeah, I just want to keep working hard now, though, and hopefully focus on the next game and see where it takes us.”

The Northern Ireland defender returned to full training with Liverpool on Tuesday after a period of compassionate leave following the passing of his father.

“Definitely, I just want to pick up where I left off,” he stated.

“I just want to keep trying to play as well as I can for the team and help the team as much as I can, so hopefully I can pick up with that on Saturday and see what happens.”
