Liverpool are not waiting around to get stuck in this summer transfer window. News broke on Monday that Alexis Mac Allister had agreed personal terms with Liverpool, a contract that would reportedly keep him at Anfield until 2028.

With Mac Allister now set for his Liverpool medical, talks of further additions to Jurgen Klopp’s midfield department have already begun.

Two names highly tipped for a summer switch to Anfield are French duo Manu Kone and Khephren Thuram, however, there is an additional name who has continued to be linked to the Reds.

As per 1908.NL, Liverpool are targeting a move for Turkish midfielder Orkun Kökçü from Feyenoord.

Kökçü played 46 times for Feyenoord during the 2022/23 campaign, racking up 17 goal contributions and being pivotal in the team’s Europa League run, where they were eventually beaten by Roma in the quarter-finals. Additionally, Kökçü captained Feyenoord to their first Eredivisie since 2017, proving to be an excellent leader at across multiple competitions.
