Donny Van de Beek was signed from Ajax by Ole Gunnar Solskjær a few seasons ago. The Dutch midfielder had been playing under Erik ten Hag before he was brought to Old Trafford.

Many Manchester United fans thought that the midfielder would have a resurgence under the manager he was familiar with. However, this has not been the case and the midfielder has struggled to become a regular feature in the squad.

This has not been helped by a substantial injury that Van de Beek suffered, however he wasn’t really playing a part beforehand. Now it seems like the midfielder is preparing for his exit from United.

According to an exclusive piece of news broken by Fabrizio Romano, Donny Van de Beek is now exploring his options ahead of the summer window. The report states that the midfielder wants regular football from next season.

Romano tweeted; “Donny van de Beek will explore options on the market in the next weeks as he could leave Man United.”

“Donny loves the club and ten Hag but he needs and wants to play regularly next season. Told he’ll be ready for pre-season after long injury.”
