Harry Maguire is the most talked about defender in Premier League history, and more than half of the criticism thrown at the Manchester United defender is absolutely unjust.

The United defender has been blamed for nearly every problem at United in recent years, and has at times even been blamed for causing United to concede goals he wasn’t even on the pitch for.

Tottenham are interested in offering Maguire a chance away from United this summer.

As reported by Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in a move for Manchester United defender Harry Maguire.

The feeling is that Maguire will leave United this summer and both the defender and the club believe this is the right move going forward. Spurs are interested in taking advantage of that.

Ange Postecoglou is now the manager of Tottenham and he will have the final decision on whether Maguire is brought in, but it’s something the club are exploring at the moment.

Manchester United would likely look for around £30million to sell Maguire, and they are expected to make a move for Kim Min-Jae from Napoli. The South Korean defender has a £40million release clause.

Spurs will be mindful of United trying to use their interest in Maguire as a make weight to try and sign Harry Kane, as it’s felt Daniel Levy has absolutely no interest in allowing Kane to leave this summer.

One to watch in the coming weeks.
