One of the biggest and most anticipated moves of the summer is expected to be done sooner rather than later as Arsenal have sorted out some of the final details in the deal for Declan Rice.

Reportedly Arsenal and West Ham United have now came to a full agreement over the payment structure for the England international so now the transfer can move along at a much quicker pace than it has been.

The transfer fee is triple figures with West Ham selling Rice for £105million however the issue was how Arsenal were going to pay that money but the agreement is now that they will pay in three instatements over the next 24 months.

This was not Arsenal’s first choice as they initially wanted to pay the huge fee over five years but due to West Ham’s stubborn stance over Rice the Gunners have been forced to do it their way to ensure Mikel Arteta got his top target for the 2023/24 campaign.

Also Arsenal had to move quickly to stop Premier League Champions Manchester City getting ahead of them in the race for Rice who is coming off the back of a fine season at West Ham as he spearheaded the side to the Europa Conference League trophy.

There is still negotiations over add-ons however they aren’t expected to halt the transfer like the structure did and Rice is set to have his medical at Arsenal during this week.
