An exit is likely on the cards for Chelsea striker Kai Havertz and there are reports from Tuesday that the Blues have determined the price tag for the German.
According to Nizaar Kinsella, Chelsea hope to recoup a majority of the fee they paid Bayer Leverkusen for Havertz should they part ways with him this summer. This sets his price tag at around £75.8 million.
The forward still has two years left on his current deal but Chelsea are willing to sanction his exit, as his value will only continue to fall and newly appointed manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bring in a new striker to lead the line.
It is understood that Havertz would be keen on a move to Real Madrid but it remains to be seen if they will formalize their interest in him. They are in need of a striker following the news of Karim Benzema’s departure but Harry Kane has also been heavily linked to replace him.
The striker was never able to find the form he displayed in the Bundesliga at Stamford Bridge but he will leave with the unbelievable memory of his winner in the Champions League final against Manchester City.
